Angry Eagle Publishing group is accepting queries for all genres of fiction and non-fiction (including self-help), these submissions may also include Christian works and inspirational ones. In order to be considered for publication, fiction manuscripts should be between 50,000 to 125,000 words in length, and nonfiction length considered on a per-book basis. All submissions may include collections of stories or poetry also, contact us for length requirements.

One of the biggest misconceptions about the world of publishing, especially indie publishing, is that authors get to write while publishers sell their books. While AEP will work very hard to market your book, the true success of any book comes from the author’s willingness to put themselves and their work into the marketplace. This can include media contacts you may already have, a fan base you have already collected, book events you plan to attend, signings at bookstores, etc.
Please ask us about author platform-building assistance programs if you need help, as this is crucial to your book’s success. All Angry Eagle authors are offered free platform building advice and assistance to further their book’s reach.
If AEP accepts your work, you will be expected to provide a marketing plan for your work. The marketing plan you send is very important! Don’t have one? Don’t let it stop you from querying. We can help.
Angry Eagle Publishing Group is what they call a small press publisher, meaning we use multiple means to get you published and our authors never pay to see their books published.
Which means we are a traditional publisher or a royalties-paying publisher. We firmly believe that authors should not be charged for editing, design, or marketing services when published through us. Instead, we take the chance on you… Instead of the predatory practice of vanity publishing that charges authors to be published under their label, Angry Eagle Publishing retains a portion of the royalties and currently is one of the highest-paying royalty publishers in the industry.

Please place your query letter (including word count and synopsis) and the first 5-10 pages of your manuscript in a single word document and send it to Submissions@angryeaglepublishing.com.

If we request follow-up materials, you will be instructed on how to send those materials to us, along with any additional information such as marketing plan, author bio, and other information.
Place the words “submission” in the subject line of your e-mail, then the “fiction,” “non-fiction,” “Christian,” “Inspirational,” “Short Stories or Poetry,” and the working title of your manuscript.

For the Self-published author
We do offer other services for self-publishing authors. This is NOT a publishing contract, but services that ALL authors must navigate when self-publishing.
- Non-traditional fee-based (self-published). This option means that authors are charged for the cost of design, formatting, editing, cover art, and illustrations, as well as the setup and publication fees if needed. The author is responsible for ongoing marketing and maintenance of their account. No other fees are due. You are self-published; we do all the setup and then turn it over to you.
- Authors can order a book cover design, editorial, or formatting work. This is paid directly to our designers and editorial providers, not Angry Eagle Publishing. As facilitators, we assist the indie publishing community with discounted quality services.
- As independent authors, authors can contract all the needs to navigate the sometimes confusing task of publishing their work. Again, Angry Eagle facilitates this and even provides the services, but fees are paid directly to the staff.
- There are no high-priced “packages.” Authors can contact us and we can offer an estimate based on our provider’s fees for services that can be found on their websites and social presence. There are no thinly veiled extra fees or big costs, and authors pay the service providers directly.
